I know many won't like this but what if:

Murphy/Greedy and

Adderly/Thornhill

Defense is young and FILTHY!!! With no holes (on paper, barring injuries)...

Use FA and rest of the draft to acquire OL depth. Just stick to Big 12 and SEC players.

If Greedy was there I think we have to at least consider it.

Exactly, then either move him inside to the slot or put Jackson there and the secondary is solid if you draft or bring in a free safety. Greedy ran a 4.37 at 6'2" and 185. He can build on the frame and is long and fast enough to play against  tall receivers like Jones. I don't know why he fell.

He looked terrible at the combine. The drills aren’t perfect but they do highlight deficiencies. His change of direction in the mirror drill and his hip swivel in the back peddle drill were awful. Not hey it’s correctable, but a wow he’s really terrible at it. Same with why I didn’t like Dillard. Great “number” and look when he’s all by himself but real game time and he got abused way too often and it showed in the Senior Bowl week when he went against mainly day 2 type guys.

I did not see him--if that is the case,  then the  athleticism of this write up is overblown or just plain wrong.  Reminds me (as you describe it) of the Prince from Ohio State.

Burns won't be starting right away nor would any linemen unless at guard. About the only position where we could find an immediate starter is at Safety or Corner if they slide Jackson inside. There weren't plug and play O linemen in the first yet alone later. Sure these guys will rotate in but they aren't better than who we have as starters now.

Wow! You finally said something consistently brilliant!  Kidding, but this is exactly right.  That is why I like Ford or Risner, etc--plug them in at G and we are better--work with them at T for 2020---they could make or not--either way, you have a good G.

And i think Jackson would be better inside--if we got better outside.  Right now, it is hard to ignore the CBs still on  the board.   I  imagine they go off the board fairly early.

Expectations for starters are overblown this draft. Hurney did a good job plugging our holes except at FS and possibly corner/slot corner. I don't think most folks know how hard it is to play OLB and rush the passer on one play and drop in coverage the next. Peppers struggled to do it and look at his athletic ability. I hope we go S/corner in the second. That would really solidify the secondary which instantly improves the pass rush.
