Mac Commercials

Seriously, Mac ads must be done by the same people who do political campaigns.

"PC says that Windows 7 is free of problem. Oh really, PC? When Vista came out, PC promised the same thing; THEY LIED! Do you really trust PC now? Here's a B-actor in casual clothes who talks condescendingly towards a man in a business suit. Vote Mac."

I was thinking the exact samething. The PC dude says that Windows 7 is out and is going to be better that Vista. Then the Mac dude says hmm where have I heard that before. It then goes back to when PC said Vista is better than XP, XP better than ME, etc.

I mean really wtf. Windows 7 has recieved nothing buy positive feedback. And the only thing about Vista is that it needs alot of memory. Thats it. Windows XP is widely considered the best operating system ever. Windows 7 might be even better. And lets be real, ANY Windows operating system was better than ME, so them flashing back to when PC said "XP is going to be better than ME" is complete and utter bullsh*t. Thats saying the best OP ever really wasnt beter than the worst OP ever.

Mac really failed with this latest commercial.

All I know is for the last 3 years I've had a Mac and it has never had any problems. When I used a PC growing up with XP, I think it froze like 56 times. I never used Vista much so I have nothing to say about that. And I've heard Windows 7 is great.

Can you imagine if every company did this kind of advertising? I'd have to mute commercials every time.

    • Kind of where I'm at on this also. I think he has the potential to be an all pro caliber guard if he can come back 100%. He's more mauler than quick. Hunt is making 20m per, Moton is making 22m. Moton is a better RT than Icky is a LT so I think the pay comp would probably be about the same there. I don't see Icky as a 28m per season LT. He'll be low 20s and as an elite guard, i think he'd be within a couple mill of that.
    • I read that Pittsburgh is a possibility.  I think of college QB studs who had some form of mental quirk yet tons of talent--but their issue made being a team leader difficult and it led to their demise--going back:  Jamarcus Russell, Art Schlichter, Jeff George, etc. I think people forget that the QB must not only have talent, but they must lead.
    • I wish I knew more details, but the NIL money to 20-year olds combined with easy access to gambling sites is a side effect that these kids may not have considered.  To your point,A famous 2009 Sports Illustrated article titled “How (and Why) Athletes Go Broke” estimated that 78% of retired NFL players go bankrupt or face significant financial stress within two years of leaving the league.  I am guessing that ego and $$$ and the thrill of competition (most pro athletes love competition because they are the winners) makes it a powerful temptation.  Throw in the ease of gambling on your phone which is always in your hand, and I see your point x 10.
