Think the op is going with the idea this is the Carolina Panthers football forum. There is a section for hockey and other sports. Most come to this forum for panthers news and info. How would you feel if you went to get groceries from the grocery store and all you saw was bass equipment and people started trying to make you into a fisherman.

If you like to hold on to the idea Carolina makes it ok to do so then what haves when charlotte knights come in Charlotte flyers, Charlotte dubstep, Charlotte tuba and saxophone players and such, his Miss USA post was just as relevant to the panthers forum as hockey.

Cool .. again my problem was the thread was started more as a troll than supporting their team..

And all I pointed out was if the premise of your thing is the only relevant team in the Carolinas and the fan bases is bigger than the Hornets.. Than why did you need to post your game threads on another sports forum?? When you had a forum dedicated to that sports team..

That's fine I hope the Hurricanes do win the cup or whatever. But, I'm not a hockey fan.. you cant force fandom onto people and say you should be like me and like what i like.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
