While it’s possible, how many concussions has he suffered. I only remember that Burfict hit.

I will counter that it’s kind of a big leap to assume every football player is mentally stable and that only CTE makes them nuts. I’m fairly certain that Aaron Hernandez was a criminal way before Florida and the NFL. Why should we assume that Brown hasn’t always been this way but until he became a stud he kept a bit more quiet to make sure he got a payday? Sort of like the old adage about what changes in a relationship after marriage.

All good points but just wanted to point out that CTE and concussions are not strictly linked. A lot of new studies show that the consistent lower energy impacts experienced by linemen are actually just as bad, if not worse, than the big hits in terms of long term damage. Those big hits are usually more devastating simply for the fact that a player could outright die on the spot if they snap their neck or get some internal bleeding.

that's exactly what all this bs helmet stuff is, a smokescreen.  they've got all the talking heads talking about it.  the new helmets lessen concussions. its all for the public to feel better about football, to keep watching, to feel better about letting their kids play - so their kids will play - and they'll have players in the future to keep making money.  they don't do poo for cte.

you know the military put sensors on troops helmets to see if the explosions they were around were enough to cause cumulative damage.  took the sensors off immediately when they realized shooting a rifle was enough.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
