Serious discussion- what do we do at backup QB?

We play a couple more preseason games and let everyone have a chance to do their best. Then, we pick two of them as backups and we move on into the regular season.

You know, like everyone else does pretty much. These are spare tires, they are only meant to get you to the next service station or perhaps limp on back home. Let's not treat it like we're one of those folks that just decides to drive around on a donut until the rent's paid at the end of month.

Honestly, it really doesn't matter who our backup QB is. If Cam goes down, we're done. But realistically, it will probably be Grier. If Cam got injured, God forbid, then it would give Grier an opportunity to gain some experience.

If it's any consolation, if Matty Ice or father time (Brees) goes down, Atl and NO are pretty much done.

Heard someone say on the radio yesterday that Grier has a nice arm and beautiful deep ball, but he is trying to catch up with reading coverage and making the reads quicker. In a year or 2 he may be the man, but this year he probably needs to be #3.
