My Plan B is Not Ron and Marty.

I think you are a great football mind on here.... personal opinion, everyone else, YMMV, you are calling for hurney/Rivera’s heads.... I say in Newton is tied to them and it is a rebuilding process with a new QB at the EOY If they are gone... are you ready for that? Most next coaches aren’t Bruce Arians where they think they can change a guy.... I can’t in any way see a GM also going along with that...at least GM we would want if we are going in a different direction... are you ready to dump cam?

Emotionally speaking, no.

If he continues to play like he did tonight though, that's probably the direction we're headed.

I'm kinda hoping the Steelers suck enough to get Kevin Colbert fired this year and he lands with us.

But he's just not cut out to be a head coach.

Thank you for responding.... I think Hurney,  Rivera and Cam will see the same fate whatever that is. You and everyone else here says Rivera loves his vets.... the feeling outside of Charlotte is some of his vets are better than you guys think but Carolina is a 9-7 team that needs a QB and won’t be in position to get one in the draft

Cam was an awesome dual threat quarterback but we all said he had to make the transition to more of a pocket passer in order to stay healthy. But if he doesn't run, how is he as a purely pocket passer?  Last year was his best year under Norv before he got hurt. It was sad watching him tonight. He could only throw over the middle with no touch to the outside and I even saw him revert to his old throwing style. Then on the pass to Greg Olsen he just flicked it out there right on the money using his compact throw. Like two different guys on two consecutive throws. I really worry that all the hits has David Carred him a bit. There were so many times that CMC or whoever was in the flats were wide open and Cam never even glanced their way. He appeared hurried. He seemed to stare down his receiver like Wright repeatedly and didn't seem to scan the field. I wonder if the blitzes, head shots and o line breakdowns have really played with his head.

The problem is insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. I just wonder how long Tepper will allow this to go on before putting in Allen. So counting tonight that is 8 games in a row.  If Cam doesn't play well against Arizona even if we somehow win,  how long do you wait. Cam bounced a ton of passes and overthrew even more. I am no quarterback coach but something is wrong with Cam ???? And meaningful games or not, the last QB who actually looked good was Allen.  And he really scares me given he got injured easily and hasn't shown all that much to show he is an upgrade. I doubt Cam would take it well and doing something drastic could Winston him like Tampa did with Winston and Fitzgerald. Not good options

I’ll play... someone like that would never  Come here without getting the coach that he wants (tomlin can go to the Browns next year btw lol)... the team of him and who he wants as coach will not keep a QB 9 years at that time???? They will have too much pull.... can’t keep a vet, gives you less time to start winning... drafting someone gives you clock....

Even  when cam had the chance to make a play he couldn’t

That's what I saw... How many times did he have his hot read open on third down and overthrew? Listen, NOTHING in this league comes easy, but what separates great teams from regular teams is a QB that makes the big throw at the times when it is needed most, ask Brett Farve about rust and ankle pain. The game I saw tonight... The Panthers should have scored 38 points. They drove the ball deep into Bucs territory so many times just to crap the bed on 3rd down and even 4th down. If Cam just connects on 3 or 4 of those the Panthers win by 2 touchdowns easily! Cam IS NOT making the TIGHT throws in those critical moments, point blank! Great QB's just get it done, even on bad nights... Cam has lost his swagger and I do not know if it will be found again.

I mean for whatever reason, we haven't won a game of football since November of 2018. Blame whoever and everyone  sincee they all get their share of blame but I can't tell you how depressing that  game was.  I have now walked that walk of shame at BOA for too many times leaving the stadium angry and deflated. This time might have been the worst of them all. Getting soaked by a pop up thunder storm then get herded into the concourse. Hot wet sweaty bodies packed together in not a good way debating why we got screwed on the 4th down call.  Then back to the seats for one of the worse offensive performances I have witnessed in BOA. Moments of excitement followed by longer stretches of WTF???!! And the referees were so awful all the way around. They influenced the game drastically which is not what they are supposed  to do.

Hell, I need to stop posting and go to bed. Damn I never expected to be 0-2 at this point. Doubt I will sleep much. Went to the game with a cold and now are nauseated as well. It will take some time to rebound....

Cam lost the game, he got lucky because he should have had 4 interceptions, 1 that Tampa did catch they even gave back. If you can't see how bad he is (even when he has time), then you're just a blind homer. Even the post game guys only were talking about how bad Cam was.

Jeez, how many times do we clearly see him get out coached? Even by young coaches like McVay. It's becoming just common, clearly, experience has NOT made him a better coach.

Screw tight throws, Cam isn't even making the easy throws. What I saw was not pro level at all, y'all should have won easy.

As bad as cam played we still had a chance to win had our oc not poo the bed, that should tell you something

Yeah, it tells me the Bucs are horse sh-t.

If we were to repeat tonight's performance against an actual good team, we could lose by 30 points.
