• Snap #9: not targeted, but his WR breaks free momentarily on a possible OPI
• Snap #10: run play, TD

They were definitely going after him and were getting success: 4 targets, 2 receptions for 27 yards and would've had a big TD if Brissett connected on it.

However we were playing him at CB, maybe he's slightly better at safety.

Hurney and that eye for talent!  Oh that's right, all-world evaluating college talent! So is that why he picks up these scrub free agents?

Maybe he will take D Jackson spot.  He can't do as bad as Donte has in the past 6 games.  I know he is a safety...but heck he still can't be as bad at DB as DJ is.

Clemson players are a product of their system, especially on defense.  Don't get me wrong, some pan out to be decent NFL guys, but still you aren't consistently get All-Pros and Pro Bowlers from ex-Clemson players.  To be blunt, they don't look nearly as dominant once they leave Clemson, SC.

Zero risk in getting a look at him. Its not like the bottom 5 guys on the roster would be on any NFL roster anyways. Why not cut one and try him out? Nothing to lose.
