Small chance to improve next week to #7 if Jax can beat Indy at home. Chargers won't win at KC, so we stay behind them.

If KC loses to Bears tonight, maybe they'll rest their starters next week since they've been kinda banged up this year.

I say we trade the pick for future picks.  Tank for Lawrence next year.

No one is tanking. This ain’t the NBA. If you want to tank then you better go ahead and trade guys like CMC and Luke. Those two guys won’t be riding on a tanking ship. Only Donte and Samuel will be up for it.

Win or lose tonight, they might rest starters next week

The Chiefs cannot be the AFC's No. 1 overall playoffs seed, as they were last season. Baltimore's win over Cleveland today saw to that. But they still have something to play for tonight. The Chiefs have a remote chance of getting the No. 2 seed and a first-round playoff bye. For that to happen, they need to beat the Bears tonight and the Chargers next week while the Patriots lose to the Dolphins next Sunday.

This team has been sacrificing the future for Cam for past handful of years.  I think CMC and Luke will understand if we have to do rebuild for 1 season.  You can't just keep throwing sht at the fan.

I promise you that Luke and CMC won’t understand. Those guys are true football players.

We're pretty firmly at pick 8 now !! fug yea!

All we need to do is actually lose the last game of the season and the draft season will be very interesting to say the least

I’m good with the 8th pick. We just need to lose to stay pretty. It’ll just be cherry on the top if Jaguars and Chargers can lose next weekend

    • Rotating in Chuba was beyond stupid and really hurt our offense overall. We’ve been in a good rhythm the last 6 quarters or so but Canales figured disrupting that with Chuba would be worth it Rico fits this offense so much better than Chuba    As far as grades go I know that ain’t our RB1, starting Center and our supposedly deep WR room and exciting talented young TE in dead last. Weird. I wonder if that has any correlation on QB play  Even that first incomplete ball Bryce threw in the end zone that hit Legette’s hands. Legette had no business being there so early. Legette went into scramble drill when that ball was intended for Coker who led up because of the traffic there
    • Yeah Jets have pretty much been in every game they've played and have barely lost to really good teams. They are much better than their record says Imo
    • I kinda just wanna see what the offense can do with a QB who has proven he can move the football in the NFL. If Dalton wasn't a shadow of his former self I'd be fine with him but Father Time has definitely caught up with him. If we start piling up the losses as the schedule gets tougher and the passing offense continues to be anemic that might cast Canales his job and it's worth a very low risk move IMO to at least give him a fighting chance. The thought of yet another Tepper rebuild just isn't at all exciting to me having already seen a few of them. I'm about giving this current guy a fighting chance.
