I have a feeling Tepper interviewed McCarthy as more of a consultant, getting a feel for the process, style thing. That or he’s our backup backup. If we wanted him as coach we would have already signed him.

OC Kellen Moore, OL Coach Marc Colombo, WR Coach Sanjay Lal are all still under contract, assuming the new coach wants them. Everybody else is free, including defensive coaches Kris Richard and Rod Marinelli.

As to flying McCarthy to Green Bay then Sarasota...
