Dont see Tepper rushing it or falling in love with one coach.  He will have his order of preference but if his tops choice gets picked he will just move on to the next one.

Not necessarily rushing. Breer said Tepper and McDaniels have been on each other's radar for over eighteen months now.

Don’t think we have much of a chance with Rhule unless Tepper really likes him and offers him the universe. Giants are very interested and that’s where he’s linked to the most.

Looking at Tepper’s past interest in McD I would say he’s the most logical choice. Hopefully if he’s the guy he has learned from his mistakes.

Yes, but will he choose us over Cleveland ???

It's supposedly his dream job and they're supposedly going to offer him unlimited power.

Only because he was from Ohio and the owner has said all decisions will run through him and that's why he fired the GM. Not saying he won't go there but there is the Browns owner and his idea of how fast success should come.

Actually, the second part doesn't look to be true. The Browns announced their new reporting structure recently and the general read is that it's not as coach-centric as McDaniels would like.

As far as the dream job part, it's one thing for a kid to dream about coaching his favorite NFL team. It's another to say, "Boy, I really want to work for Jim Haslam".

If this shakes out to McD-Cleveland, Rhule-NYG, Tepper may have to reassess.  Even those two have many question marks.

I don't think this will automatically be Bienemy or Stefanski and honestly, I think it would be smart.  I think there's more guys to check out and the ones signing aren't really can't pass on types.  I really want to pursue David Shaw but it doesn't look like it's happening.

It's a fairly common scenario that teams who have their hearts set on one coach but lose out on that coach to follow up by expanding their search.

If you're not completely sold on the fallback options, sometimes you have to reassess.
