Zod's Giants Stadium Ramblings...

Just thought I would share a few ramblings from my Giants Stadium experience.

1. NY Fans are actually a lot like Carolina fans. Most were polite with only light hearted smack.

2. The teams get introduced out of the same gate, their locker rooms are adjacent to eachother. I found this odd.

3. The turf is god awful. It resembles the stuff your grandma has on her back porch, only not as new. Much of it was wet, and essentially, an ice rink.

4. NY Fans scream a lot of profane junk to the players, much more so than Carolina fans. One thing I found very funny though, is that the only player no one was screaming at was Smitty. He stood there at the corner of the endzone during the game just staring the crowd down. Not a word from them.

5. Many snowballs were thrown from the stands onto the field, and many fans were kicked out because of it. At one point I caught a snowball, and wished I had a way to bring it home. I pointed the guy out to security who kept making an ass of himself. The security guy called it in and said "watch this". He smiled and waived as he was escorted out.

6. Saw Keyshawn in the tunnel near the locker rooms and chatted with him a bit. Even in person without the pads on, he is a big dude.

I may think of more, will add later.

They probably remembered the Lucas incident

I would have liked to have seen a photo of how Zod and jbro was dressed - just to see if you both dressed properly for the weather. I'm betting not.

I was wondering if anyone was getting in trouble for all the snowballs. They were pretty plain to see on TV.

Did you notice that one guy in the black Smith jersey in the endzone - I think it was above the tunnel. He was next to a guy in a white #90 NY jersey. He got a lot of face time.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
