Logged in just to say this is a fantastic hire. Was really hoping we could keep him another year, but this was coming. It’s telling that he won the Broyles Award and he didn’t even call the plays. That’s how much he meant to that offense.

I don’t know how long you keep him. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him leave in a year if that’s offense explodes. Teams are lining up for guys like him right now. However long it is, I don’t doubt he’ll be successful. This hurts twice, as a loss for LSU and a win for a rival of the Saints.

Great hire. Congratulations fellas.

I sorta missed you, in a weird way. Stick around maybe we can restart that rivalry after all.

Do you think he’d get a HC job at 31 years old? Seems too young and that’s the only way I could see him leave. I figured he’d at least be here 3 years

McVay got hired at 30. He’ll be older than McVay was at the end of next year. Just think if he has success, teams aren’t gonna want to wait and lose their chance.

Damn I thought McVay was 34 when he was hired. You’re right then it’s possible. Although Brady doesn’t seem as much of a leader as McVay. Congrats on the NC last night.

McVay was the youngest head coach ever, at 30 years and 11 months. I think Brady’s role on the sideline will be huge for a possible HC job. He’s been in the box. I’m sure teams want to see him on the sideline as well.

I wouldn’t call it a foregone conclusion that he’s gonna be gone. A lot has to go right. But I think if things go right, it’s a possibility.

I don’t think money will be the motivation. If he’s offered a HC job, he’s gonna leave. Money wasn’t the issue about staying at LSU. It was about making the climb. Brady has HC aspirations.

its always about the money.

Listen, Tepper isn’t gonna offer him so much more as n OC that he bypasses a HC job. It’s just not gonna happen. If he’s successful there, he’s a rental. Same as here.

have you seen the 0's that man can write on the end of a check yourself?    i know what you're saying.  i think it'll be a few years because that may be what it takes to get us going if we move on from cam.

That GIF is a laughing GIF in response to LSU losing Brady. That guy is a UT fan (hence his avatar of a steer).

My understanding is that Teddy Bridgewater is a free agent next season, is that correct?

I'm asking because of this:

I assume he means Bridgewater unless either of you guys has something different.

All 3 Saints QBs are FAs. He is referencing Teddy. I think he’d be a fantastic fit.
