5 Wide Sets

Yeah but in a 5 wide with 5 legit weapons like we would be fielding .. Cam wouldnt have to stand back there for 10 years and wait for somebody to pop open. Surely one of the 5 would be schemed to get open in two seconds and other routes are deep, intermediate .. lots of options for Cam.

He might be able to get the ball off, but he's still going to take a ton of hits if five wide is a staple unless our OL improves dramatically.

"Quality" is completely objective. If you disagree with the opinion, state your own. Hell, plenty of takes that were popular and seemed reasonable at the time proved to be pretty damn idiotic in the long-run.

I never agreed with it, but early in the season when Little and Daley looked promising, it was a fairly prevalent opinion on the board that we should shop Moton. Think about how utterly fuged our OL would be right now if we'd traded Moton.

I’ll replace the term “quality” with “new” or “gently used.” The Cam worshipping or Cam bashing threads for that matter could have a 30K page archive and yet this guy continually produces the same thread with a different title three times per day.

As much as I loathed bigcat he was banned for less, and there’s no denying that.

How about show us what a quality thread looks like by starting one yourself instead of bitching about what someone else does.

Quality also depends on members creating good discussion. How about trying to start done yourself if you think it's a problem.

Plenty of new material unrelated to the same drawn out discussions, some I've generated and some I’ve contributed to. Most the the time the tinderbox crew comes in a hijacks it, however. Look no further than your pie list. Perfectly good example was a thread on taxes on BoA and no less than 3 comments in it became a political war zone.

Deflect much?

Start your own threads. You don't like thread ideas? Start your own. Don't like a thread because of who started it? Don't click on it.

OP is probably on borrowed time here, but point remains, no one forces you to click on threads you don't or won't like. If you're bothered by it, it's your fault.

Nah. I'm making it my mission to keep this account until I die. I won't jeopardize this account.

The concern troll whining about the mere existence of Newton threads in the offseason really isn't even thinly veiled anymore.

Especially after all the celebration threads rejoicing over a broken record in a 5 win season with 1 lone divisional victory.

Yeah, we've seen these stories play out before. It's just a matter of time before it ramps up into constant attacks and just outright toxic posting - which, for the record, is why bigcat got banned.

No deflection. Just stating the obvious bias.

Will do, though. I’ll keep my criticism and rationality to myself henceforth.

And to be fair, the 49ers who will be playing in the SB tomorrow night.

When your Trenches are stacked you can get away with that

3 1st round OL

4 first round (including 2 top 3) and traded for a probowl DL

You can win that way

Others may not recall your posting history to know where it stems from.

But we see you heel.

The Niners (and Ravens) have basically built an offense that I speculated a couple of years ago could become a new wave. As more and more defenses focus on stopping the pass, they're inevitably going to become more vulnerable to the run. We saw it with our own defense. We traded all of our size at DE for speed to improve our pass rush and then we couldn't stop the run to save our lives.
