2012 looks like the worst movie ever

It's just something to play on/increase the fear factor of the 2012 stuff... I saw a preview for it during Paranormal Activity that said something along the lines of "Civilizations around the world have predicted it... Science has confirmed it..." and showed a graphic of all the planets lining up...

Out of curiosity, I ran that date through a sky/star movement simulator, and guess what, the planets don't line up... As such, Science has confirmed nothing...

As far as the concept and idea goes, one can only hope religious/overly tinfoil-hatterish people buy into the hype and off themselves in a moment of terror of impending doom... While the rest of us continue to live each day without fear of the supernatural....

As far as the movie is concerned, meh... I'll probably see it for the effects if nothing else...

its coming to TV

Roland Emmerich, the director/producer of the apocalyptic film 2012 (opening Nov. 13), confirmed to EW exclusively that a small-screen version of the end-of-the-world movie is already in the works. Emmerich said there was “plenty to do in a TV show” and that 2012 executive producer Howard Gordon – who’s also an exec producer on TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice - would be attached.

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
