Jordan Love..

WOW!!

If we're doing threads on 2nd and later round QB'S then this is the guy..

Raw ability this is the best QB in the draft for Joe Brady to Mold...

Size speed combo will be the best.. 6'4 230lb 4.8 speed with elite arm strength and ball placement..  Also has alot of strength when passing on the move...

Movement in and out of the pocket is good and has some improvisation skills when a play breaks down..

Has a elite season in his college resume..

And If it wasn't for all his coaching and offensive weapons leaving and him having a down season.. He would be a top 10  1st round QB no doubt...

If you want raw clay for Joe Brady to mold into a elite QB.. Make sure you have quality clay for him to work with...

When you're looking at QB'S.. JMO

You want to see a strong arm and ball placement... You also want to see him in a stressful passing situation and still throwing spirals (not wobbly balls) down the fields.  Throwing in tight windows and hitting players on the run is a plus... Not to mention having big hands that wrap around the ball while they are on the move and also can catch wild snapping situations.. So their ready to unleash from a cannon arm no matter how their body is positioned .

I also like a guy who didn't have the best weapons or the best Oline and still move the offense... Can make any throw and can run in today's nfl.. Where QB need to be able to move and be a part of a team's running game.

This game explains the good with love...

Having a bad season still lead his team to a ball game.. New Oline, new Scheme, new weapons still kept going...

Look at the ball placement and the moving in the pocket.. Making plays when there wasn't any.

He is a developmental QB who if Joe Brady is what some say he is could mold into a elite QB..

As many or more big time throws as Burrows.. Played with less talent.  Cover up for his Oline with movement and not taking alot of sacks.

NFL throws..

1. Deep in a bucket throws..

2. Anticipation throwing somebody open throws.. And while their running so they don't break strides...

3. Throwing on the move with touch and accuracy..

4. Zipping bullets thru tight windows (especially near the red zone)..

5. Back shoulder throws..

6. Throwing from different angles while undre duress...

7. Giving your playmaker a chance to make plays throws instead of taking sacks ,being safe all the time, or throwing out of bounds when ppl aren't open right away ..

He was god awful last season. I think he led the nation in ints playing in the PAC 12 a conference known for bad defenses

Agreed.. But in context he lost everything..

New coaching staff, new oline, all new weapons... At Utah state a school not known for quickly reloading in talent... His surrounding cast was horrible compare to the year before.. He still lead that team to a bowl game...

    • I mean I just don't understand the argument. Baker and Sam both have been pro bowl QBs post their time here. And you just said yourself that is due to him having a damn good roster around him and they are well coached. You're even saying the bad baker is still there somewhere, but he is in a good organization with good roster and coaching that they are getting the best out of him. Why does Baker and Sam get all that benefit of the doubt but when it comes to Bryce it must be a BY9 problem, not an org or team problem?  Hell I got a guy below you arguing with me that Chark/Hurst/Mingo sucked because Bryce wouldn't throw them open. It's ridiculous how far the stretch goes.
    • Correct.  It’s really hard to get open in the NFL when opposing defenses gameplan and cheat coverage/routes on all your players because they know your QB can’t make certain throws/plays.   magically no one that comes to Carolina can get open or make plays with the ball in their hands…..it’s like there is one singular common dominator to it all.  BY makes playing defense way too easy.   NFL players are too good to allow one side to cheat coverage and not respect all the potential threats of a route  so you can dial up a great play.  But if corners and safeties just cheat coverage and know X and Y happening on route/threats….getting open gets hard when they just play it one way.  Getting open has a lot to do with the different threats a WR can pose on a given play.
    • Kinda depends how you look at it both were 3rd round draft pics.  Nico was nothing before stroud and tank came in with stroud.  If both were on the panthers would young have them doing well and starting or would their stats be low.  I really dont know the answer to that.  None of the panthers wrs have left and did well either but personally i feel neither of nico or tank would do much on the panthers.
