How is it a top flight college program he hasn't been coached, trained, or taught to turn his head around and track the ball in 3 years? Why would one even need to be told that? It's common sense. When the WR looks you look.

College teams have put a premium on recruiting, not x's and o's.

x's and o's is what separates comparable talent.

all coaches attempt to teach and coach and develop players as thats half of their job.

Its not half their job anymore. Far more time and resources spent on recruiting. They certainly try to improve the players, but the top teams head coaches are not known as great in game coaches and thats not my opinion. Pretty well understood. Saban, Orgeron? Those guys are not great in game coaches. Silly to suggest otherwise.

Reading his weaknesses and other comments about his confidence, this kid seems a bit confused--scared of making a mistake.  I think he is thinking more than being instinctive.

He is not ideal to be a day 1 starter, he could use some time---but if they limit what they ask him to do scheme wise, he might be fine--  asking any 4th rounder to go up against Julio Jones is asking a lot--

Just my hunches based on what I have seen "slow down " other players

    • You honestly think Tampa would have traded down with a division rival so their rival could land a “generational player” at a massive position of need for TB?   bruh
    • Ya'll better quit throwing shots at Zod. He'll come in here and ban everybody. I had a friend @prosource who was banned in 2015 because he said some very minor things about Zod being an ass to the posters on the main forum after starting the All-Pro one. He said he felt like another level is cool, but don't punch down on people that don't want All-Pro. (He did say that it wasn't going to last long anyways.🤔) I distinctly remember him calling and being like "dude, I got banned, my profile says I don't have access to the Huddle!") I feel like once Tepper came in and cut off all unofficial access to the team, Zod was going to be around less. The All-Pro board had really good photos, even in game stuff, and I remember seeing him behind a little fenced in area at Wofford for non team sanctioned press/photographers after Tepper bought the team. I knew then his ego wouldn't allow him to continue with past fervency and effort with that reduction in access. Dude was literally in the locker room when JR was owner.  I came over in 2011 immediately after finding out this place existed. I was super involved with the Charlotte forum, and fell off after its demise. I will never forget arguing Pep over Ryan Sims on that forum! Who is Ryan Sims some of you may ask? My answer is exactly!
    • And not see him running free. Because has been free a lot more than he gets credit for.    Now what XL does with that when he does see the ball, is on him.
