Looking forward to what looks like an amazing PL season upcoming.  So many teams have improved.  Should be awesome stuff.

Chelsea have improved the most.  Will be lethal attack.  I do think Chelsea need to improve their defense unless Lampard thinks he can fix it.  Chelsea whole attack will be from Bundesliga lol.

Hopefully Chilwell and Silva come on board and help.  Really wanting Havertz as well and Chelsea would have completed a very good transfer window.  As you know anyone new to the PL will have a steep challenge but these new attackers look nice on paper.

I thought Havertz was in for sure?  Is it not happening?

Mbappe looked like crap today.

BM handled them pretty easily in the second half.  Really was pulling for PSG there but the better team won.  Thomas Muller has to be one of the most annoying players to play against.  Brilliant but that guy kills me.

Oh and Manual Neuer is just flat out amazing.  He has been so damn good for so long now.

Bayern is so loaded on talent and they are not a sugar daddy club.  They end up signing a ton of talent on free.  Can’t believe Wenger never let Gnabry play and just let him lose and now dude worth like £140M.

Yeah they will be big favorites to repeat.  Machine really.  I hear on those that got away...Chelsea has been a king of that lol.

That Barca vs BM match was crazy.  Never thought Barca could get completely tooled like that.

Oh man... Barca had a meltdown.  They are too old.  They need to completely rebuild the team but their older players are on crazy salary and impossible to sale.

    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
    • Canales can never get his teams ready in the first week of the season so far. Hope that changes or Ben Johnson is going to take his azz to school.
