Lets say we continue to lose more games like the way we did Sunday. Offense looked good, Teddy did his job and so on. So if that happens and the Panthers feel as if they don’t need a QB after this year, if Lawrence, Lance (I like him more than Fields) and Fields all go top 3 it leaves some real studs sitting there 4-7...

Sewell (legit day 1 LT), Parsons (a complete, explosive ILB), Rousseau (stud defensive end), and J’Marr Chase (would do wonder to our offense). 

 

I think it’d have to be Sewell and then Rousseau just based on positions. If Moore takes a step back then maybe you need to go Chase and trade or not extend Moore. LB isn’t something I want early unless he’s Luke. If not, no chance I want a LB over DE, LT or WR.

Imagine Micah coming downhill at you behind Brown.

If you go watch game cut ups, you’ll see that he can cover too. I’m not big on using resources on a linebacker either but Parsons is special

we have 1 guy signed for 2021 on the offensive line, hopefully Moton signs so thats 2.  If the panthers are not able to get TL but have a shot at Sewell but draft a linebacker instead then I might just seriously give it all up.  It would be a clear indicator that they have no clue whatsoever.

I mean at the end of the day it’ll depend a lot on how the young guys perform. Luke was awesome but he suffered the last couple years as our DL started sucking. When Short and Star were stout, no issues. If Brown emerges and Roy steps up then sure. My only worry is that if the DL isn’t solid a great MLB gets minimized.

Please no more high first round picks on non-pass rushing LBs when we have other massive holes. We've historically spent way too many resources at LB and paid for it with poor OLs, secondaries, and receiving corps.
