Most people never believed Fournette was trash or a bust.  Everyone know he is talented, and that has shown while he was in Jacksonville.  His thing is more or less attitude.

Running on the Panthers isn't much of an accomplishment, I admittedly was on the Fournette train at the time we got CMC I was pissed we didn't trade up for him in fact.... Boy was I wrong it's not so much that LF is bad its more that he is a relic to a by gone era of football as completly one dimensional he is.

I mean, our defense is suspect, which is an understatement, and Fournette broke a big one.

Fournette has played to JAG level in many respects. James Robinson has looked better than Fournette the past couple of weeks, even with game scripts that demanded passing, so I'd say someone on the Jags knows their stuff.

Lastly, this thread could be taken as some kinda weak attempt at redemption for all those who loudly spoke for Fournette and against CMC. Well, we all know that that's akin to jumping into a useless rabbit hole. Fournette doesn't have the dynamism of Dalvin Cook, much less Mccaffrey! Much less! So, I don't see the point of the thread being injected into the Panthers forum.

BTW, @Varking has been here a long time, as have many of us.

The (Chris Jericho) "junior" card should be played as a last resort, if played at all IMHO on the Huddle. Like some things, "it's not the length, it's the strength." The take is the take! Attack the take, not the member! Though, admittedly, in some cases that line of delineation seems nebulous (from the perspective of both sides), and on occasion someone may deserve disdain.

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup. • This is why we need the Bank of America Stadium Ballroom.
    • That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.
