More Embarrasing than Buffalo?

In my opinion this was the most embarrasing loss of the season. This was a statement game and the only statement we made was that we're a bunch of chokers. As bad as buffalo was they were an opponent we rarely play and we sucked offensively from beginning to end. This was a division opponent. We knew them better than anyone. I feel bad for DeAngelo. He gives us 110% each game( he's more than made up for Washington). Yes his fumble at the end was big but he was the only reason we had a chance to begin with. If there was a game that screamed "John Fox and Jeff Davidson have no clue how to make adjustments", it was this one. John Fox sealed his fate with this one.

While this was embarassing, it was nothing like Buffalo. One of the worst teams in the NFL, one of the worst defenses in the NFL (rush wise at least) in Buffalo, and we threw the ball, what, 40 times? We played terribly.

In this game, it came down to the fact the Saints made plays in the 2nd half, and we didn't. But we were at their place, and they are 8-0 for a reason. W e'll get them next time...

IMO this game was way more Foxs fault then Jakes. Jake didnt turn the ball over at the end of the game and when he did pass it was on target. I felt sorry for Dwill this game because he was taking big shot and Davidson was putting him in bad situation. I mean I saw at some points a LB,DT, and a DE converge on him. If you cant trust Jake to throw bench him.... Dont let your other stars get killed cause your scared to take chances and adjust to the game.

cause they'll be playing their backups by then.

I don't think anything about this game was embarrasing. We started of strong as ever and had the lead until the 3rd quarter against a undefeated team. Obviously the momentum was lossed after the second half and confidence fell short. Turnovers have killed us this year and this game was no different unfortunately. I think every one of them played their hearts out today and while I am upset and disappointed, I don't feel the least bit embarrassed. Imagine the possibilities of this team with a new staff! There is way too much talent on this team to be wasted away (by i think you all know who).

I don't think it was an embarrassing loss. We hung in there with them. If we had gotten a QB in the offseason, we might just be winning the season. What is embarrassing is that Hurney and Fox thought they could win with Jake.

^^^ This

We cant win every game with the run game , we have to be able to pass too!!!

I recognize Jake has had some bad games as recently as Buffalo but the past 2 weeks Jake has done a good job with what Davidson allows him to do. I hope that the success he has had will translate into improved confidence to use our passing game to move the ball. Jake has moved them regularly through the air. How many third down conversions did we have? Well we could have had several more if Davidson had opened up the passing game. Who knows what will happen next week. But Jake was on today and he wasn't given a chance to win. He was the old Jake today although in a tight leash. On a day when our running game failed us in the second half not the defense.

    • Adding on to that - I know I read from some reporter that Dak Prescott's mentality is extremely fragile. Get in his head, and he loses focus and confidence. Per that reporter,  anytime a big game comes up, he starts to have the jitters and hasn't seem to overcome that slump. Dak would be an upgrade over Bryce as things currently stand. But Dak has not proven he can play in games that matters without choking. Bryce hasn't had the chance to show anything in the NFL, so nothing much to say there. But based on his history, he's done well in college in the national championship. Theoretically he should be more confident in big games if he gets to that point. For that alone, I'd rather keep rolling the dice on Bryce or set our sights higher. I wouldn't touch Dak with a 10 ft pole given his choking habits.
    • Same here brother, love Xavier I think he’s gonna become a quick fan favorite of the team. He already has gone viral for his country accent, we have no face of the franchise currently outside of maybe Derrick Brown in terms of media attention. I would not be surprised if in the next 4 years Xavier becomes that media darling we used to have in the 2010s with Luke, Cam, Josh Norman, CMC, etc.
    • I haven't been high on any of the WRs we drafted in the past.   This kid though is someone I actually wanted. I have a feeling we finally hit big with this kid. I'm expecting him to be a DJ Moore caliber WR.
