I think you actually watched the game on Sunday judging by your posts in the late games thread

HFS. :crying:

I could have sworn we were talking about the game in here on Sunday too. That’s why I thought instantly that the forum was having issues.

Worse. I'm tired.

The house hunting process is a mental and emotional drain like nothing I've ever experienced.

Really hoping we find the right one because I don't ever want to do this again.

The only thing worse than house hunting is then going through the purchasing/selling treadmill followed by moving, which may be the worst part of it all.

Each time we've done it, we swear it was one of the most draining experiences ever.  The problem is, after about three years only ONE OF US remembers how bad it was.

If the other one of use comes to me and wants to move again, there may be a death.  I want my next move to be to the grave.

Thanks :poison:

For the record though, Lady Cowboy Fan hates it just as much as I do.

As long as she remembers she hates it, you will be in a better place.

And mortgage rates are eye-opening right now.

Mrs. Schultz watches too much HGTV, and suffers some from the "grass is greener" syndrome.  In fairness, all of our moves have been for the better in one way or another, but sometimes not better enough for me to walk away saying "that move was worth it."

And after one move in which we sold the house for what looked like a lot more than we paid for it after three earlier, I broke down all the ownership costs with her (including her "putting her stamp on it").  We still made money, but we could have made more money elsewhere, which changed her view of "a house is a great investment" to be nearer to mine, that it is a place to live.  And getting to the age we are now has made her appreciate the value of paying off the mortgage as part of the retirement plan.

As a very wise financial advisor friend of mine once said to me, once you own your house, what are they going to do to you?
