Given what we've heard about our front office taking a collaborative "coach centric" approach, could we offer that?

I don't think this is true, they blocked him from interviewing for the Packers GM job before and that was offering full roster control.

Rules have changed. Teams don't have as much power to block as they did.

There was a rule added after the Patriots screwed Caserio over to help stop that kind of thing from happening.
