Well this is a Panthers forum, so yeah I’m not a Texans fan. Look the team isn’t ready to compete right now. They had what 4 wins and now lost JJ and have their QB disgruntled. Trade him and load up and they could have a very quick turnaround with some stability. I wouldn’t be against 3 1sts, CMC, and another player if I was a Houston fan. Especially knowing he doesn’t want to be there....

You are simply rationalizing what you want...

...your interests don't align with the best interests of the Texans.

Yeah they should stay put. Everything is looking great for them. 4-11 with their top 5 pick belonging to another team, Watt released, and their franchise player unhappy, deep threat a free agent, and a lot of players are going to avoid them. Let’s try it again!

Can't win the big without a "franchise QB"...

...it is in the Texans' best interests to retain Deshaun.

Players also have to buy in for a franchise to be successful. Don’t see that happening if they refuse to trade him...

I don't believe Deshaun is a malcontent (like James Harden) who will come in and dog it and act like a jerk...

...but you never know!
