Boy...what I would do to trade up for Herbert in hindsight. That kid is phenomenal.

I was right about Herbert. Only me and Marty were on that bandwagon. Teh huddle wasn't.

Now if only people could trust me on Kyle Trask's future.

Incorrect. I was, as well. Said so at the time.

Trask isn't the guy. You'll see.

Okay, you know I did mean "most" of the huddle. Yes he is excellent. Did my homework on Herbert way before I joined Marty's bandwagon.

I evaluated Trask the same way. He's the real deal. We'll see. All bets are of till he gets his chance. Physically, mechanically, IQ, pro speed release, Drew Brees type ability to read and react. Yes. All day.

This IS a great QB draft. I just think quite a few of those high fliers will fizzle.

6'5" 240lb hog Mollie pusher. Physically he's the most impressive to me.

Ya'll sleeping on my boy!

Yeah, we went round and round on that. I just don't buy your logic of him being "bigger" so that means he is better. Herbert's size is an asset but his elite skill levels are what made him a big time prospect. Trask has very little in terms of the elite skills.

Yeah, um as far as QBing skills he's got that.

Cam Newton clone, running like a gazelle, no. Standing in the pocket, reading and delivering nice catchable balls racking up the most yrds and touchdowns in college football, yes. If you're QB is doing what he's supposed to do, elite athlete matters not.

He also has a slow delivery, a less than lively arm and some questionable mechanics. If you want that kind of QB, why not take the far better version in Mac Jones? He has all the polish that Trask doesn't and still doesn't have an elite skill set.

That Herbert comparison is pretty bad. Herbert was a great athlete and has just about every elite skill you want in a QB. His questions were all related to the scheme at Oregon and him being able to translate to the NFL.
