This will be my primary hangout. The den downstairs is just one huge open space. That's a 75" TV and I wish I would've splurged and gone bigger. That wall is right at 11'. Ignore the less of cords. There's a wall mounted entertainment center on the way. I hate drop tile ceilings and I'll eventually do something different but that's one of those down the road projects.

we haven't even touched the basement yet but I want to do something similar.  We have the drop ceiling as well, along with some 3" thick striped carpet

Oh by me I mean builder haha

Good call. Porches/decks, yeah I'll build those. Cool. Paver patios? FUG THAT. Especially that one. Having to lug all that filler, sand, and pavers up and down those steps by hand SUCKED. I gave myself turf toe doing that poo. Four years later and my right big toe still ain't right. Definitely made me see turf toe in a whole different light when I used to mock players missing significant time due to it. Nah, fam. I get it now.

Kitchen and living room. It's finally coming together. Still quite of bit of pictures and what not to hang, but it feels like the end of this moving process is finally actually in sight.

What an interesting thread.  I kept meaning to read it, but work and being pithy in other forums =P

I have been amazing at the market in Harrisburg (NC, not PA).  We get 2-3 cold calls a week asking if we want to sell.  We get weekly Opendoor emails and letters trying to entice us as well.

It's nuts.  Talking to my realtor friend, The 'Burg is just red hot right now.  We have no intention of moving.  Been there five years this month.  So happy with our home.  Managed to get new roof, windows and a tankless hot water heater with some help from a storm right after we moved in.  Finally got the grass looking good...

But someone offering $120k over what we paid, in some cases over $400,000...sheesh.  That's tempting, except we couldn't afford a new place near where we are.

    • He threw with him the last two offseasons so he knew what he was signing up for lol
    • The meat and potatoes: Out of 30 qualifying QBs in Week 1, Young ranked: Dead last in EPA (-0.60) Dead last in success rate (20%) Dead last in Y/A at 3.6 Dead last in passer rating at 27.5 How are you averaging just 3.6 Y/A on unpressured dropbacks in the first half of a game? Thinking back to that halftime deficit, I’m reminded of this stat: The Panthers led at halftime in three of Young’s 12 starts last year. They are now 0 for 1 this year. In his 29 career starts, the Panthers have led at halftime in 5 of 29 (17%). Since 2000, there have been 37 QBs to start at least 25 games in their first two years in the NFL. Young is the ONLY QB to lead at halftime in fewer than six of his starts. Young is the ONLY QB to lead at halftime in fewer than 20% of his starts. So many people were backing Young based on the super small sample at the end of the year when they thought he played better, and he did play moderately better. But even in those games, he delivered average stats against the NFL’s easiest schedule of pass defenses to close the year, with every opponent ranking 20th or worse. There’s never been a QB who rebounded from performance like Young delivered in his first couple of years to go on to become a franchise quarterback. Some stay around as a journeyman, but they don’t lead teams. The Panthers put all their eggs in the Young basket this offseason. The Panthers were the darlings to win the NFC South by many. Yes, it’s only one game, and there certainly are opportunities to improve.   The opportunity is to start someone else at QB.   I don’t want to see anymore debate in whether Bryce is the worst QB ever.  Especially not the worst #1 overall pick ever.  What a fuging bust.
    • I hope Adam Thielen is having a nice time tonight.
