It's a scramble. It is not the end of the world if a QB does it every so often. Every QB but Brady scramble.

Also, most QBs get hurt in the pocket, not while running. So it is kind of a good safe play.

Le'ts keep those bullets in the gun. Until there IS something to see, there is nothing to see. YET. If Sam can play all 17 games? I think we have a chance to be a really good team.

Short story long: Sam's got dis.

You're wasting your time with that one.  Ever since he's been here his template has been one of two things:

1)Pathers suck!   So lets win now.
or
2)Wow that's cool, but Panthers still suck, and those of you being positive and don't won't to dwell on all the negatives, don't realize that dwelling on the negatives make you better.

Its like a rash that won't go away.

I've had that rash. Hellz, I've had it for over 30 years. I call mine "The Wife". lol

Speaking of the wife. Carlin had 7 words you can't say on tv. The wife also has 7 words I'm not allowed to say. "Let me tell you about my wife". lol

Instant evil eye.

Good luck making it through 17 games if you can't handle the truth in August 🤣

May I ask a question? Well, I'm going to ask it anyway. Why do you always tell the folks that disagree with you, "They can't handle the truth"? What does that even mean?

Are you trying to say that somewhere in all that anger, and pent up  frustration there is a morsel of truth? Nah, that's not it. lol

Lighten up. It's just football.

In this context the truth referenced was simply about Darnold playing within his capabilities and letting the talent around him elevate both him and the offense as a whole instead of him trying to do too much on his own like he did with the Jets. Which strangely enough has been the basis of reasoning from users like sbblue on why we should have patience with him. So hostility on the matter here is both misplaced and odd.

"You can't handle the truth"
Yeah.  As I've said before.  You know what happened after he uttered the line?
They dragged him away screaming.

Okay then. I guess I got the answer I needed. And not the one I wanted.

The funny thing is if the team takes some lumps this season that's more likely to be you than anyone else based on how combative you have been through the offseason toward anyone with a different take that isn't showering the team with praise. The rest of us have been through the likes of 2010 so all of this is just a cakewalk 🤷‍♂️

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
