How many of you guys are willing to take that risk.

because of Verge’s sources are true.  And we give up 3 1st rd picks.

if the NFL decides to put Watson on the exemption list or he gets worse…jail time.

 

 

We still would have a good probability. That we could have this same team we put out today.

with no Watson.

with losing a couple guys like Donte and Reddick in FA

with no top 100 picks this year to fix the OL.

with no 1st rd (which would probably be top 5-10) until 2025.

 

there is still a good chance this could happen if we have that up for Watson.

now is it really worth that risk.

 

because we could just as easily see a 5 year period that makes anything the Browns did look like child’s play.  Just as good a chance that could happen as Watson suits up here next year.

      That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.

      I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
