the KC model was never worry about QB last.  

QBs that the Chiefs churned through while Alex Smith was the starter until they landed Patrick Mahomes: Chase Daniel, Brady Quinn, Tyler Bray, Aaron Murray, and Kevin Hogan

If anything, the KC model was to retool the team while a veteran runs the ship and fliers were taken on guys to see if they developed. Once everything else was ready, they went and got their guy.

We're unfortunately following a tear down, so immediately winning wasn't a likely outcome for the Panthers. 😞

      With two starters on expiring contracts (Moton + Corbett) as well as a few back-ups (Christensen, Mays, and Nijman), the Panthers are likely going to have to reinvest in the OL after this coming season. Icky's fifth-year option was picked up by the team this offseason while Lewis and Hunt both remain under contract then (though Lewis' deal is set-up in a way that would let Carolina move on from him then as well). I think that the team is going to be looking at investing a premium pick at RT should Bryce's development continue, and might even look to double dip at the position in order to have a swing tackle that can also kick inside when needed. There's also the question of starting center... Prospects I'm watching this upcoming college season...       I watched documentary on the 2010 Auburn season and Cam wasn’t included in that either. I think he just doesn’t care for these things
