All we need is a decent game manager at QB and we can compete. Cam is, at the very least, currently capable of that. Aside from an atrocious line, which he overcame pretty much his entire career here, everything else has improved since he was last here. 
Im super excited that Cam is back. He deserves to end things here on his terms after all he’s given this team.

Without the silly talk and bubbly gushing like a school girl (which I am definitely guilty), OP is right.

I don’t know how else to say it other than, I have an honest emotionally familial tie with Cam.  Smitty too, but Cam was different.  He affected not just my fanaticism of this team, but I care about the dude.  Him coming home is great!  It just  comes with a burden of guilt, like I want to tell him I’m sorry.  

My QB is home and I feel like my dog died.  However, I get the sense that my shame will turn to anger at the organization again for how they dumped him in the first place.

      well, players dictating things only works if you have the right collection of players to dictate things.  and in all honesty, not sure if we can answer if we do or don't as fans given......there are no Thomas Davis types around that we know are actually about X and Y (based on years showing it).  Collective team is too new to us to know what these dudes are really about in terms of players carrying the burden of culture.

      Moore can be put in one of the vet spots on IR. No one will be checking for him at the start of the season. But I would be very perturbed if we tried to go all Gettlemagic and stash an obvious talent like Horn on practice squad like we did Butker. If we can get through this year, next year it will be obvious Moore and AT will be gone, starting namely with AT's contract.

      Culture change comes from the top down, not from drafting a 3 and no D guard. I doubt Lamelo is gonna take his cues from this 20yr old kid lol. If Brandon Miller couldn’t change the culture with how good he is and how much he hustles on both ends, Kon Knueppel sure as hell ain’t changing it. Ace Bailey by all accounts is also a great teammate and hard worker, btw, who was drafted by a team he supposedly didn’t want to go to yet he immediately bought in. And he’s got actual length and tools on both ends of the floor. I feel this pick is going to age like milk rather quickly.
