You don’t value Myles as much…thats fine.  My last trade didn’t include Hayward since I don’t see the Pacers wanting him.  Better yet.  We win now and they rebuild.  I was never a huge Bouknight fan tbh

BTW…Sabonis coming here would be retarded.  I never even considered that as a possible option.  That guy is a fuggin amazing scorer

Yeah he is a legit all star big man who would be worthy of the Pacers crazy demands.

Also PJ is like the perfect fit at the 4 next to him.

The Pacers keeping Turner because they overvalue him instead of trying to find a better fit next to Sabonis and properly building around him has hindered their team for 2+ seasons now.

No way in hell I'm giving them Terry and a first.

If we're talking Terry and a first Sabonis better be involved in that conversation.

The reason I said I would give up Terry is because the team has more than enough scoring without him. They need defense and rebounding. Plus giving up Terry gives more cap room to resign Miles.

I'd be fine with moving Terry or Gordon if it was for a Sabonis or Jarrett Allen caliber center. Not Myles Turner.

Just wanted to add team chemistry is at an all time high with this team. Listen to any interview with the players recently and they all talk about how that has been the key to their success this season.

I'd be very hesitant to mess with that.

This is true…playoff team if we are healthy so need to tread lightly with Pacer trade demands

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
