D&D 3.5 holds such a special place for many of us. The depth and complexity of the system take a lot of work to beat. It’s fantastic to hear you're still going strong with it! What’s your favorite part about 3.5? For me, it’s the endless possibilities for character customization and the rich storytelling.

I saw your post while looking for smth, and It’s such a relaxing way to unwind after a long day. I love how it makes me think strategically while also being super chill. I’ve been into board games lately. One of my favorites right now is spider solitaire. If you haven’t tried it yet, I’d recommend giving it a shot. It’s great for solo play and perfect for those moments when you want to take it easy. What about you? Are there any board games you’re enjoying at the moment? I'm always up for hearing about new recommendations!

Spider Solitaire is such a classic! It’s perfect for unwinding and keeping the mind sharp. Lately, I’ve been enjoying some strategy-heavy board games like Catan. Have you tried it? Always up for new game suggestions too!

Not sure how old - Tsuro

I miss D&D. We created some epic campaigns and characters. It really helped develop my ability to think outside the box and problem solve.

The Tsuro iOS app is decent for a quick hit

Finally, somebody who appreciates Rail Baron

My buddies from college, my wife and I about a year ago decided to go back to our youth and start an AD&D campaign. Old school rules and we realized we had never played the great modules that were available back in the day. So we started with T1-4 (The Village of Hommlet and The Temple of Elemental Evil), moving on through the G series (Against the Giants) and will maybe do the D series (Descent into the Depths of the Earth, et al) and finish out with Q1 Queen of the Demonweb Pits.

Had to buy original copies online, but it has been a blast. We've been playing weekly for about a year and a half and have made it to G2 the Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl. Old school has been sooo much fun, but the game was much more deadly back then. No idea how any of our characters survived.

Sorry, I've dated myself and outed myself as a lifelong geek.

Deal with it, folks like that run the world nowadays.

i think everyone played this starting out. FUN

Sadly, me and my guys and gal didn't. I started out in 1979, but as a 10 year old with divorcing parents, there just wasn't the money to get them. And my gaming group met up in 1988 and started playing but somehow it was never in the modules, just roll and goes. So, almost 35 years later and we're still gaming, and we just had a little nostalgic idea that we ran with.

It has been a hoot.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
