Rhule… in garbage time… not gonna let Cam finish his last home game at BOA? I hate this man!

So you are just saying you are talking out of your ass?

Okay. Got it, Matt.

I mean comparatively to a game where the savior of this franchise went 5/21 and 1 INT I would imagine anything Sam has done would be considered spectacular if those stats are your benchmark for contentment.

The sad part is that it's you who is making this about Cam. The rest of us are just laughing at you for claiming Sam was anything but dreadful.

But by all means, nut hug away, Matt.

I’m not making anything about Cam. The entire fan base showed its character booing the guy after coming back from an injury when we’ve been dog ass for the last several weeks without him too. Cam or PJ for that matter is simply a reference point for folks like yourself to place some context on your bitching because you refuse to see past your biases.

I mean....pretty sure it's not my biases showing. You can scroll back through this thread to see the play-by-play of your comments versus my comments.

I only interjected because you made some idiotic and ill advised statement about "spectacular" Darnold play. That hasn't happened all season.

There hasn't been a spectacular QB performance here since prime Cam, probably about 2017/2018. Some good ones and a whole shitload of mediocre and bad ones.

Not sure what biases you’re seeing from me saying all of our QBs are dog water. Seems pretty level to me but think what you want to think. As long as you’re thinking that’s a step in the right direction.

I mean.....I didn't start out commending Darnold's "spectacular" play nor spend thread after thread lamenting how abhorrent booing him was.

Like I said....pretty sure the bias is pretty obvious.

Thread after thread = two

Counting not your specialty either? I’ll consider the cohort and not give you a hard time.

Calm down, Matt. No reason to get upset.

I get it. Sam is your boy and you have his back. Odd choice of worst QB in franchise history but it is what it is.

You haven’t been around long if you’re donning Sam with the “worst in franchise history.”

I've seen them from Frank Reich to whatever counts for a "starting QB" with this team.

Darnold is definitely bottom 5 all time. Not sure anyone will ever be as bad as Jeff Lewis but given enough time, Darnold might give it a go.

Is he bottom 5 or worst of all time? Make up your mind, Stan.

Idk how anyone can look at cam and Sam performances and deem Sam better.

a guy off the couch is performing as good or better than the guy we traded draft capital for, and guaranteed 19 mil bucks to when we could get that production at a fraction of the cost.

one qb is pulled and sub out consistently throughout games and subbed out whenever the team forces a turnover or whenever the it’s garbage time, Rhule is tanking all our qbs value but specifically Cam by the circumstances he’s deliberating putting him in, you think I want this guy grooming a rookie qb after the last two years ?

I wish the roster was so good that we are a qb away from contention but that’s grossly not the case, it’s 2020 all over again, we can either overpay for subpar qb production or we can pay cam peanuts like he’s been getting the last two seasons and fix this team then find our future, if we dick this up twice I might go full fairweather fan mode

    • okay I found this and it sounds like my hopes for the first surgery being not such a great job seems like it could be actual reality.  I only hoped because that would give a better chance for recovery and ia a possible scenario so I just thought it could be possible. Had no real evidence of it. But I’ll be damned.    This is a detailed report of Brooks’ surgery and the condition of his knee after the failed repair.     https://x.com/jmthrivept/status/2055743129408704806?s= Sparked by some very good questions by @CoachspeakIndex, here’s some info on Jonathon Brooks: 1. Speculation that the first graft/ACLR by Dr. Cooper didn’t “take” or at least was too lax, leading to failure and re-tear. Brooks dealt with issues cutting, progressing in his rehab into the early stages of 2024 and then re-tore it late 2024, requiring a second ACLR in January 2025 (essentially revision). Notably, CAR prolonged Brooks’ rehab process through Sept-Oct due to issues progressing into the next stages of rehab. 2. Second surgery performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who has extensive experience with revisions. He did a double bundle technique, harvesting graft from Brooks’ left patellar tendon and a strip of his right IT Band (his right patellar tendon had been utilized for the prior graft in 2023. The double bundle technique significantly increases rotational stability of the knee, leading to a stronger and more secure graft/reconstruction. Also to note, Brooks’ surgery wasn’t significantly delayed, meaning that the tunnels from his prior ACLR were in good shape and they didn’t need to perform bone grafts to fill in (would have delayed 2nd surgery by 5-6 months). Essentially, reading the tea leaves tells me that everything else except for the graft itself was still in good quality within his knee. Good sign for future.  3. Typically, you see a performance increase anywhere from 16-20 months post-revision. Brooks will be ~21 months out from his second surgery by the time Week 1 hits. His knee should be more stable and stronger this time around, with adequate time for healing and return to all movement patterns. I’m not viewing this situation as a typical “Player __ had TWO ACL tears, he’s cooked” situation. Rather, I’m viewing it as the first procedure failed, but the second procedure is significantly stronger and should allow him to return to form this time around. I don’t know why it posted as a link but there it is.
    • Jackie, any more reps tomorrow, or is that it for this session?  thanks for the work
    • How can you say they aren’t trying to win now with all the moves made in free agency? Or is trading first round picks the only way to be win now? I’d be fine never trading another first round pick again, win now be damned.
