Honestly don’t want Ben Simmons.  We have our guards…

Edit: didn’t read well.  Trying to think of a team that would want Simmons at his price with a good fit?  

Lillard to Philly for Simmons and a first rounder makes some sense to me but doubt Portland does it.  I would consider it.  If I am Portland I want more that I don’t see Philly giving

Also averages 34 minutes a game vs mkgs 24. So times mkg stats by 1.4

Rebs 7.56

Simmons is a better passer but dude can't shoot. Not worth the money for 2 more made fgs per 34 minutes than mkg

I never argued he was worth the $$ - or that he could shoot.. I just gave their career stats because u made the comparison but they are simply not comparable.. Simmons is far superior to MKG in passing and every other stat

Rebounding is very very similar.  Scoring is two made baskets I wouldn't consider that far superior. I wouldn't want the dude anywhere near my team even at the same money mkg got 5 years ago.

      Especially with no other major sports in the area other than UNCW basketball and soccer. It's a good 2 1/2 hour drive just to catch a collegiate football game. If this new arena were built I would hope it also includes an Adult League - I would join up and time allowing would be more than happy to help coach some youth teams. 😄

      That was real fear in his eyes when the rope was being taken. My younger days, I had my best friend that happened to be black come over all the time. I had the nicest bulldog on the planet, my friend Damon was scared to death of him. His grandmother and daddy taught him to fear all dawgs and seen the same fear in his face and voice.    I think alllll young kids should take swimming lessons and not fear the water. Very thankful my parents did this, I no longer get in the ocean since its 50% sewage. But I enjoyed all the lakes, pools, and oceans I swam in.

      My personal opinion is the non-guaranteed contract is the main reason for NFL success. MLB and NBA players are on cruise control after their big contracts and it shows in the product.  NFL is each year you are fighting for your job. Same for the majority of the public.... You get lazy or try to coast after the 100+ million contract, your ass will be cut within 1-2 years. Then the next one will not even touch 100 million+. Besides a few NBA players like Kobe was coming for blood with a 300 million contract or 1 doll hair deal. Brandy Beal just reached a buyout where he was getting 110 million, many other cases..... I dare say his name for the hornets guy..... MLB sooo many times as well.    If the NFL starts fully guaranteeing all contracts, Id have a new hobby to fill the hours of entertainment NFL gave me.
