You probably know as little about Yurt as I do...but look him up.  23 year old 7-footer and better rim protector and scorer than what we have (Plumlee).

PJ Washington is not a star, nevermind a starter on the 9th place team.

This is not a barn-burner trade, it’s a slight upgrade at C and maybe PF if Morris becomes available soon.  (This trade is still a rumor for the record).

Miami is getting rid of a great 7 foot rim protecting prodigy.  Ok, lets let them make us better.

And yes, I have never heard of him.  I feel better now

Since you know him so well how is he better than Kai Jones?  Just wondering

I am wondering if we get anything out of that trade.  It turned into Kai Jones right?  Forgive me…NBA trades can be an algorithm

The Kai Jones trade was actually with New York. We traded a protected first round pick. The protections are 1-18 next year, 1-16 in 2023, 1-14 in 2024 and 1-14 in 2025. If not conveyed by then, the pick will become two future second-rounders.

We acquired the protected first round pick from New Orleans for Devonte Graham.

Thanks…it is so confusing to me personally

If we’re trading with Miami, I’d want Yurtseven, Strus, and the 2026 second round pick they picked up from OKC for Washington (they can keep Morris). We’d have to open up one roster spot, most likely getting rid of Vernon Carey.

When healthy:

G- Ball, Martin

G - Rozier, Strus

F - Hayward, Oubre

F - Bridges, McDaniels

C - Plumlee, Yurtseven

Depth

G - Smith

G - Bouknight

F - Thor

F - Jones

C - Richards

    • Short version = these people have had those seats since the beginning and haven't missed a game. They have always had their sign. They had to change the sign - I think in 2015 when Cam ripped that Packers fan's banner down (love him for that, by the way) - to be compliant and haven't had any issues in the last 10 years. The Panthers even used a photo of them and their sign in their album from the Falcons game. In the 3rd quarter last weekend it was decided that the sign needed to come down. Seems weird and unnecessary, especially since it has been there for every game for a decade.   Also "cringe" is a funny word for someone over the age of 18 who lives and overshares on the Huddle. But, ok....
    • Just watched those buc Hawks highlights and good lord....both of them were slinging the ball around. Its definitely a talent issue, I dont know how anybody thinks bryce is just gonna go to another team and start doing that.
    • Thielen was traded away right before our season started. Coker got hurt right before our season started. Renfrow, a player that hasn't played in a while went from cut to being thrust onto the field. Moore, the one vet we did keep, is currently out. Bad things seem to happen trying to throw to XL. Oh, and Tremble was out for a few weeks while Sanders is currently out himself.  Simply starting the fact that we can't even keep a #2 on the field. You're hoping one of the many rookies pulls off a Coker and starts having consistent production.
