Hope not, but we'll see.

The presence of Rhule makes everything harder.

I was one of the few that was pretty down on the 2021 draft. I felt like we passed up on good, starting quality players to get project guys.

It would be nice to be wrong but considering the Rhule talent evaluation level, I don't think I will be.

When your praise for a draft class includes Dennis Daley, then it's a bad draft.

Hurney hit on the first pick and whiffed on the rest. Kinda typical of him.

His only saving grace as a draft evaluator is that he generally did well to great with that first pick. From there it gets iffy to tragic. I do think the problem went beyond Hurney and into the depths of our entire scouting department. And that worries me, because we seem to be just as iffy now.

I am simply amazed at how many posters on this board always gave him credit for "nailing" the 1st rounder.

How many times did Hurney give away a 1st?

How many times has Hurney drafted in the 1st for the Panthers?

How many of those have been picks 17-32?

Of those, which ones were solid hits?

Hurney was bad at every single aspect of his job, other than keeping it.
