Fans figured out early on he was the best looking LT we had on the roster. Coaches, not so much.

True. Doesn’t make him our best option moving forward but he should at least be thrown there for the time being.

Yep, unfortunately I think you may be right. I have more hope for BC but DL and DCs weren’t doing a whole lot of scouting on how to beat BC. If he’s our starting LT, they will.

If we trade for Watson, Camper’s going to have to pull a rabbit out of his ass.

Or just cash these checks for one more season.

Then it will be whatever happens after Rhule is gone. I suspect our post-Rhule coach will get selected by Deshaun Watson, if Tepper wants him as badly as the rumor mill says.

Again, this isn’t true and I’m not trying to defend Rhule.

Sorry, Twitter paste wasn’t working at first. The guy beat in the image is Brown. He made a 280 pound DT made look like prime Von Miller. Brown could barely even keep a hand on him as he ran by.

Brown looked a lot like our Miller just against college competition, some of whom won’t ever start in the NFL.

One play does not define a player.  Even the best get burned now and then.

    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
    • This is a toughie because I wonder what a guy like Canales thinks about redemption stories for addiction issues. Also, I think this is a case of 1 player getting caught, and not being naive enough to think this isn't more common in college than we think. I'd toss a 3rd rounder out there. 2026 is essentially a redshirt season regardless, so he's not taking over for any NFL QB next year. Best case, he's ready to go in 2027 if we pass on Bryce's extension. Worst case, he's our future backup QB2. Kid has the tools to be an NFL QB. I do think we could somehow land a '26 3rd round pick back in a trade. Our past years' third rounders are: Brazzell Princely Wallace DJ Johnson Matt Corral All this to say, I could see a team like the Jets going w/ a 2nd. They have three FRPs next year.
