I absolutely agree with that but it only supports what I said about Rhule and his other people. That was what made Rhule hire outside of his Baylor flunkies. That is on Rhule, just like Rhule is on Tepper for being clueless.

I said I liked his upside and he was way overpromoted. I can't say anything that positive about Rhule. I really don't know how else to say about it.

Rhule fncked up brining in so many college coaches.  He has corrected that.  I'm just arguing with  @CRAabout how much, college coach Joe Brady sucked....and theres no buts about it, Joe Brady sucked ass.

LOL😂  One year as an  offensive "assistant".  🤣😂😂🤣

That's like saying Rhule came from the Giants.

🤣😂😂🤣

2 years with the Saints, 1 with LSU.  That was his coaching career before coming here.  And his time at LSU was inserting the Saints passing concepts into the program.

I mean, it's nothing like that.

Joe Brady came out of the New Orleans Saints.  And he is running his version of the Saints O.  Position coaches and coordinators hop all over the place while resume building.  That's not abnormal.

Dabo Sweeney is one of the top 2 coaches in college football right now and of this era.  If not for Bama existing in the same window people would be talking about his historic success more.  Dabo Sweeney would be an utter joke as a NFL coach.  Proabably no bigger Dabo fan on the board than me though.

Defending Joe Brady from being the Panthers scapegoat for all the mess in 2021 is far from worship.   I believe Matt Rhule needs an OC more like a McAdoo.  He always needed that.   Him hiring Joe Brady never made sense.  It was another obvious mistake.   Like so many made.  But they hired him.

You guys seem so desperate to turn Brady into this wronged persecuted martyr who died for Rhule's sins.  He performed poorly as our OC and got canned, it's as simple as that.  Yeah we all wish Rhule was canned alongside him, but unfortunately Tepper seems to have a higher tolerance for incompetence.

Your insistence on labeling Brady as the "scapegoat for all the mess in 2021" again is incredibly hyperbolic designed to shift away from actually making any substantive defense of his performance, which you continue to abstain from.  If he was the scapegoat for 2021, then Rhule would have kept his entire coaching staff in place except for Brady.  Instead, we replaced our offensive coordinator, special teams coach, offensive line coach, wide receivers coach, tight ends coach, defensive line coach, defensive backs coach, and various assistants.  Sounds like acknowledgement that there was plenty of blame to go around.  So I don't understand the weird hyper-fixation on jumping to Brady's defense every chance you get.

Wow, TWO years as an offensive "assistant".  Well that's different then.

What were we thinking?  Do you think we could still get him back?

😂

Joe Brady sucked ass with Sam Darnold in 2021.   Most would though.

But Matt Rhule sucking is a bigger issue than Joe Brady sucking.

Yup.

Its just pathological Rhule hate spilling over into love for poor brilliant Joe Brady whose career was hurt by big mean bad Rhule.

I really don't give a fug about Joe Brady.  But he was a scapegoat.   That doesn't mean he didn't suck when he got fired.

The only issue I got is how some choose to use Brady to deflect the failures of others.  Joe Brady has his.   But he shouldn't own all Matt Rhule's and this front offices.  Which is the spin I am against.

They all stunk last year. I just wouldn't try and prop up Rhule unless you want to use Urban. That was the one coach that was actually worse than Rhule.

Hell, flip it and ask yourself if Brady was working for Reid would he have improved? Maybe. That also says a lot about that situation...

Joe Brady played a key role in bringing Teddy because he worked with him before and then played a key role in running him off.  Part of the reason Teddy was gone was because he bumped heads with Joe Brady.  It was Teddy who complained about Brady getting the plays in late.  It was Teddy who said we didn't practice 2 minute drill much, when we knew we had a problem with 2 minute drill.  Joe Brady liked Darnold because he didn't point out the coaching flaws.

Brady was a lucky college passing coordinator who was over-promoted and in over his head.  He knew it, which is why when things went south in 2021, he blamed everyone else.

The Joe Brady apologists just are sacrificing all credibility on this hill.

I probably started up talking Joe Brady today when someone randomly started saying Joe Brady was responsible and the reason the Sam Darnold mistake happened.

I mean, that's not true.  But it's what people do when they are looking to cleanse the people still employed from their mistakes.

One Athletic source said he micromanages “everything that touches football”

yeah, Joe Brady just out there doing whatever he wanted.  First year OC on level given total control and the powerful man in the room.  Micromanger HC Matt Rhule had nothing to do with how the Panthers went about practicing, right?   The head coach doesn't have anything to do with that.  Or who the QB is.  First year OC Joe Brady was in control of everthing.

They didn't practice enough redzone becaue Joe Brady insisted it was overrated.   Not because Matt Rhule had spent years and years as a college HC where he didn't emphasize it in his practice schedule like the NFL does.

You talk up Brady everytime his name is mentioned.  You sure you don't want to go cheer for him over at the Titans?
