The post-game might have been worse with the ESPN clowns raving non-stop about the team who lost. I swear, if you saw none of the game and tuned in for the handshake line, you'd swear NY swept Tampa.

Hopefully the ratings are awful for the stanley cup finals and the series ends in a sweep. It's pretty pathetic how scripted the NHL is in wanting their teams to make it to the stanley cup.

Yeah I wont be watching. These leagues need to suffer in the ratings to realize everyone is fed up with their scripted bullshit, but it seems everyone still watches the games their team isnt involved in.

Uhhh, maybe people watch because, not only do they like "their" team, they enjoy the sport itself, especially the playoffs. Let's face it, NHL Stanley Cup hockey is on an entirely different level compared to the regular season, or pretty much that of any other sport, for that matter.

I feel the same way about football...been a Panthers fan since day one, but that doesn't mean I didn't watch other games before we got a team, or that I don't watch other teams' games now. No one can really call themselves a fan of the game if they don't, at least to some degree, appreciate Brady's greatness (regardless of any asterisks one may wish to attach), or the blooming talents of young guns such as Allen, Burrow, and of course, what we've seen from Mahomes. Ditto for other positions, and evolution of the game itself... the positive aspects of it anyway.

Another example. I appreciate a performance of excellence in many forms. Now, toss in a comeback storyline. As for sports, IMO, watching golf is like watching the proverbial paint dry. That said, you can bet your last dollar I caught the final round of the Masters when Tiger made that comeback, and enjoyed every minute of it...but not nearly as much as I did 28-3. The Sound Fx video of those guys mic'd up is downright inspirational.

I’ll watch because there’s nothing else on TV right now, I’m just trying to find something to get me to Panthers and Tar Heels football season. I have Charlotte FC on the weekends but that’s about it.

Me too. Charlotte FC is great. Kind interested in the LIV tour and or course Braves baseball.

I’m sorry but Colorado is the most complete young team, and they aren’t afraid to play dirty. We’ll be there next year. Someone needs to get Rod to stop gut feeling though.

Vas looks merely human against the Avs.

Either the Avs are that good or Vas has been exposed. After seeing parts of both games, I tend to go with the Avs being that good.
