Sharpe & Cowher on CBS

idk if he is the right choice. but knowing Cowher, he will bring in an OC capable of getting the job done.

those are my thoughts too. its looking more and more like cower is at the very least the front runner and i'd say better than 50/50 will be coach next season as with our tough schedule, fox could never pull an 8 and 8 out of his ass at this point.

i really hope he brings a sharp OC with him and also hope he doesn't mess up what meeks has going. i would love to see meek's plan in action with a healthy full lineup and a year under his belt with our players experienced in his schemes. i see real potential there and hope cower doesn't screw it up or create some kind of power grab with the defense.

Word. This is what I can get behind, though I would also like to give Davidson one more chance here with a new coach that can give him freedom more than Fox does. It's possible Davidson's problem is more on Fox than him, which is why I want to see Davidson under Cowher beside Meeks. I know new coach usually have their own coordinators, but I want to see how Cowher work with Davidson & Meeks.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
