Different views I guess. Corral won’t be the answer. Honesty the best for panthers future this year would’ve been to not waste any money or cap, even on Mayfield. Roll with Darnold for a top 5 pick, fire Rhule for claiming he can win with Darnold and failing, and then give the next coach that was actually picked by the current GM like they’re fuging supposed to, the best chance to succeed as possible.

No wonder you guys are such bipolar rollercoasters when the poo hits the fan, until those things happen we will continue to suck and we really need to hope Corral blossoms into a serviceable back up not the damn savior of a franchise lord.

I'll try to be more clear.

I liked corral, he was right there at the top of rookie QBs.(called the class trash before anyone here and public-wise, checkout the draft forum and look for vomit) I dont necessary think he can be elite or SBMVP. Just given next year and Corral is the only QB along with 35+ in the red........one of the best out-comes is Corral has the chops/oranges to lead the panthers. Next year being the key, your solution of wanting to ride the sinking sub with hope of landing a top 5....... Im allllllllllllllllllllllllll/300% for tanking *once* the playoffs are mathematically at 0.0(rare deals like injuries to best players etc). Screw that tank talk at the start, this team can make the playoffs.

I wouldnt have said that in 2020 and still wanted proof the talent couldnt make the playoffs. For most part Ive been on point with reading the tea leaves, called both 2020 and 2021 OL what they were before it became fact. Called Teddy having his best year and he did. So I hope to the football gods Corral can be a a legit starting QB in 2023, but Im in no way calling my shot.

You like many others need to ask yourself this important question- Are you more of a Rhule/Tepper hater than a panther fan? Honestly Im realist panther fan much more than a Rhule hater.(dig up any hired Rhule threads and see what I thought of it at the time).

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
