Question: do I stay in competitive mode and try to get in playoffs? Do I go in rebuilding mode and try to get draft picks?

I know,, Jim Mora,,  “Playoffs!  Are you kidding me! PLAYOFFS! I just hope we can win a game!”  However, one of the great things about football is proving the experts wrong.

This roster has a lot of potential. This team is very young. You don't rebuild a young team. You improve it

Do you honestly think Cam wants any part of this ****show? He said multiple times he’s not coming back for another 5-12 season.

And I’m also pretty sure Tepper hasn’t given Wilks the authority to make roster decisions on his own.

Surely Fitterer has those reigns for the most part. Although, I would imagine Wilks has at least some authority to make roster decisions considering he fired the DC before the ink even dried on his Interim title.

    • I like Sanders but I am not sure I want the headache that comes with Deion Sanders. There are several QBs in the 2025 draft class that might be a better fit but, it's too soon to start guessing.
    • Agreed. This is why I am still on the Morgan bandwagon. Though each pick may not have been the best player available I believe each player has a huge upside.  As XL gets more reps he is going to get better and better.  That catch in the endzone was top level.  Brooks was clearly picked for the future and not 2024. Wallace has been thrust into full time duties and though he has made mistakes I think he was a great 3rd pick and will be a mainstay in the coming years.  And as you pointed out Sanders was supposed to get spot duties and sit back and learn. He wasn't expected to be our #1 option at TE.  If it were up to me I. Thomas would never see the field again and just let Sanders learn by experience.  Coker a UDFA, he may turn into AT replacement in the slot. He's got great hands and can get open.  While 2024 season is so painful to watch I think slowly but surely we are heading in the right direction.  2025 off season we address the defense.
    • Much has been said about the improvement to our offensive line but it has been to the detriment of the rest of the roster. And even then with one of the most expensive OL's in the league and an offensive minded head coach we can only muster 2 touchdowns and 2 field goals at home against the Falcons who seem like they've had a mostly mediocre to shitty defense for years now. Anyone giving Morgan or the front office as a whole credit for anything as of right now is a simp. We are not even gum on the bottom of a shoe to the rest of our division. We are a complete joke from top to bottom.
