I was wrong Duke can make a run playing like this…very impressive and well coached.

Yeah I thought about replying to your original post but decided against it. Since that robbery against UVA earlier in the season the team's been red hot, making threes and tough shots at a much higher clip. Scheyer has really grown throughout the year along with the team and it's a pleasure to see. Lively and Proctor have also come a very long way since the start of the season, at times both looked borderline unplayable early on.

Their defense is crazy impressive and that’s coaching.  They are doing whatever they want here and the draw sets up very nicely for them.  They can beat Purdue IMO.

Not sure who they can’t beat playing with this kinda poise and scoring in any fashion you want

holy poo that makes the UMBC game look like a normal 10-7 upset, they were ranked 298th in kenpom and the average height of their starting lineup was 6'3. WTF???

I mean this really is one of the biggest upsets ever on paper.  Purdue shot the ball terribly in this game but still an incredible result

That was the most incredible game I just watched.  I will not see another team flat out win a game with total effort.  Arkansas just won because they out worked and out fought so amazingly hard.  Can’t remember a team fighting that hard in years.  Incredible to see.

I will say it again…Arkansas just played the toughest game I have seen in many years.  The effort those guys played with flat out amazing.  Every player gave everything in their bodies and minds to win.  That Arkansas coach is an incredible guy to bring out that kind of work from his players.

UCLA is good pick but Alabama is pretty much the best team in college basketball with the best player.

Just found out their best player Brandon Miller is dealing with a groin injury which could be bad news for Alabama.

Im starting to like Princeton as the cinderella team that could reach the Final Four.

Alabama is the top seed for a reason and I hear you but San Diego St will be a very tough game.  Those guys can play.

    • Option A:  Pay your starting QB starting QB money. Option B:  Look for a starting QB for 4-10 years (or longer) while wasting the talent at every other position.    How many of the top 20 QB's do you think are worth what they are being paid?   When you factor in the last year of his present deal his contract is really an average of 45 million per year which in today's QB market is a very, very good deal. I wish we'd had found a Brock Purdy to pay 50+ million a year right after we parted ways with Cam.  Ya'll go ahead and live in fairy tale land where good to great (much less elite) QB's are available to pay. Just the fact that they had the chance to pay Brock after the disaster of trading up for Lance is a testament that when you find a quarter back you can win with, complete in the playoffs and superbowls with, you pay him.
    • They will still be a playoff team but they aren't contenders anymore IMO. They won't be able to spend like they have when they went to a SB and proved he couldn't carry a win at that level with a really good team around him. Now he is going to have to do it with less to spend around him. They just locked in to being a playoff bound team that's going to be a known speed bump for whoever will represent the NFC in the SB.
    • Hmm. I think he'll live up to it. Last year, about half of his team was on IR it seems, at one time or another. Year before, Super Bowl appearance. Year before that, playoff run after being third on the depth chart and being pressed into service. Is he one of the greatest in the game right now? Nope. No chance of that. Is he in the top 10 going into next season? Pretty good chance of that.  Would 20 or more teams in this league love to have the guy as their starting QB. Most likely so. He's a good QB who can implement his coach's game plan to a T and has both the confidence of and confidence in his teammates. That'll take you a long way in this league if you've got the right cast around you, and he does.
