1st rounds are starters, 2nd and 3rd round are players that should be starters in a year or so.  We traded away a pick to get him to be a backup?  It would be tough to believe he wouldn't be groomed for a starter if we used our own pick but we felt he has a future and traded away a pick for him.  

I think most underestimate his potential.

how many 3rd round picks are currently starting after sitting a year or 2?  How many 3rd rounders are even starting in the nfl?  Yeah man, most of the nfl underestimates his potential because it was clearly shown as he was dropping like a rock in the draft. 

 

Kid got a raw deal, but thats life.   The chance he will ever take a meaningful snap for this franchise is beyond astronomical.  Barring an injury there simply isnt a feasible realistic path.

Also…it’s 2 games. 2 games…. Kyle Allen was the goat after 4 games then was utter balls.
