Just can't see jerry Jones giving up ANY control.

He gave it up to Bill Parcells back in the day, largely at the urging of people within the building.

Then when Parcells didn't bring a Super Bowl, he took it as a sign that doing things his way was just as good as anything.

For what it's worth, his son Stephen does seem to have some football sense. Maybe as his influence increases, things will change.

Yea, and even though they were doing very well he could not stand it....lol

Story was Jones got drunk, starting bragging to people that the roster was so good he could win a Super Bowl with Barry Switzer and things escalated.

To be fair, he did, but since then it's gone pretty far into the toilet so it's kinda hard to say he "won".

Wonder if Flores would actually want to go to Arizona after what the did to Wilks.  Unless the new GM is making a big difference.

Flores with Murray would be a fun show to watch based on the stuff we heard out of Miami.

I caught Kyle Van Noy on the radio yesterday talking about Murray. He said his experience from playing against him was that he really really didn't like being hit.

Nobody likes being hit, but Van Noy seemed to imply that Murray was kind of soft. Said it wouldn't surprise him if Murray just one day decided to say "Screw it, I'm gonna go play baseball".

    • I would say the extremes from both camps in these conversations have to do with the blurring of the fact Bryce is a first overall pick and the expectations for that draft slot fair or not far exceed just being a top 20-25 starter amongst your peers. Regardless. All logical Panthers fans want him to be the answer.
    • The offseason is always when hope springs eternal. If you look past that, you can see a very bad roster with a lot more questions than definitive answers. Let's hope we get a lot of those right, because I think we are a lot closer to another impatient Tepper reset than we probably think.
    • These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
