We have 2 players out. Raanta is nursing. I suspect Andersen is nursing. Fast is hurt. A number of guys have dings. We need to come out of hell in two weeks swinging up. I’m not going to get down on the team right now. Peaks and valleys. Gotta make sure we are climbing uphill going into the playoffs.

I get it... we need this game. The East is murderers row this year.

But, we are missing our top net minder, arguably our best defensemen and our MVP power forward.

Sprinkle in 2 newbies that are still learning the system and a road game on a back to back against one of the 3 best teams in the league, and this is what you get...

I get that. But this Devils team missed the playoffs by 20 games last season.
