Do the Panthers take advantage of a strong TE class or ignore drafting a TE since they signed Hurst?

Honestly, most teams draft for need. The only time I can recall seeing a team maybe going BPA in round 1 in the NFL draft was when the Packers took Rodgers. The only time I can truly point to BPA being done was the 76ers in the NBA draft the three years they took a center.

Well the Panthers are going bpa in their mind of the 4 qb's they are going to their pro days. They plan to  do in depth interviews at their pro days beyondthe 15 minutesthey get at the combine. They are making all 4 a part of the 30 player visits. They plan to have dinner with each to get to know them better.  They are seriously going to look hard at all 4 before a final decision is made. I know most think they knew who they were taking when that traded up and maybe they did at first. But I believe they wanted to have that freedom to truly look into these guys deeper on a personal level.  It is a due diligence approach before they settled on the one to put all their faith and commitment into as the future face of the franchise.

    • Saw a replay of that Kucci save in the first period. That was a crazy good save and unbelievable awareness to realize that the bruins skater was coming open from the back boards
    • Across the league, many of the most productive wide receivers are doing their best work out of the slot. Rams WR Puka Nacua and Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba are perfect examples, with both putting up strong numbers this season thanks to their impact coming from the slot. Teams are clearly figuring out that placing their top playmakers inside creates major advantages against today’s defenses. I’m glad Canales has picked up on that as well and put T-Mac in position to have his best game yet. Especially against the Falcons, who arguably had one of the better pass defenses in the NFL prior to yesterday Hope to see that continue. Dave's still relatively young in the coaching world and is clearly still trying to find a good formula. Yesterday's gameplan with the YAC and impact all across the board was an encouraging sign for the future.
    • I was really happy to see XL have success and make an impact. I’ve been one of his biggest haters, but at the same time there’s very few players I want to see succeed more than XL. He’s a good dude who’s been through a lot. I hope he can keep building off this game.
