My "dream team" for next year..and its reasonable..

HC:Bill Cowher

Oc: Weis

DC:Lovie Smith

QB:Jason Campbell/ MAtt Moore

WRs: Steve Smith, Steve Breaston, Moose

And just like that we're a SB team..

lol, aren't you in for a HUGE disappointment.

Lovie isn't going anywhere and neither Cowher nor Weis will land here.

Even if it came true, we're not instant contenders. This isn't Madden and SB teams aren't constructed in an off season.

i'm sick of of hearing about jason campbell.

I don't know how I would feel if we signed him but what most fail to realize is he is having a good, statistically, year. He's completing 64.6% of his passes has over 3000 yards 20 tds 14 ints and a QB rating of 88.5. Not bad for a guy I believe is horribly out of system.

At one time that was a typical Jake year and people wanted him cut for those numbers. Just remember that.

Cower is a definate want for me. A new OC would probably come along with that change anyway. I'm pretty happy with Ron Meeks. I think if given the chance, he would have our defense at legendary status in a year or two. I want Matt Moore to stay for now, but I'm up in the air about a starting QB. I am sure I don't want Jake back though. And we absolutely need another threat WR and I would be content with DJ as a third reciever.

Have any of you people who want Jason Cambell, watched him play? Ever? He is terrible. He scrambles ok but that is because he can't throw the football to anyone on his team beyond three yards of the line of scrimmage. My roommate is a redskins faithful, so I watch almost every game. It is really upsetting to watch Cambell systematically ruin everything the rest of the team does with his inability to throw the ball to his own players. (Remind you of anyone?)

    • KP is not a straight up carbon copy but they look awful close to me.  T
    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
