I hate you. Three straight years I've failed to make the playoffs.

should have made it in my other league as well....if we had started any other combo other than the one we did, we would be in. I think we lost by 3 or 4. Fitzgerald got hurt only scored a few points. Steve Smith was on the bench....as were a number of other guys, any of which would have got us a win.

But ill take 1 championship out of three leagues.

Congrats. I got tonights game to determine two.

In the bigger money league Im down 35 but I have Adrian Peterson(Vikings of course), Sidney Rice and the Vikes d. The other guy is done.

In the lower dollar one, Im down 60 but have Rice, Vikes D, Longwell. The D starts off with 32 pts and its D/ST.

He has Forte and Gould.

So I might get a twofer tonight.

I lost in my main league last week because I played against a guy who got 53 points from Aaron Rodgers, 31.5 from Jones-Drew, 24 from Jamaal Charles, 23 from Desean Jackson, 21.5 from Reggie Wayne, and even 18 from his kicker (Matt Prater). Even if I had managed to play Johnathan Stewart against the Vikings last week, I would have taken an L.

In my big money league, my ******* dumbass friend made it all the finals and started Steven Jackson without realizing he wasn't playing yesterday. He is going to lose by 10, essentially giving away $1200. I want to slap him.

:D I won good money cause the guy I was playing did that. I beat him by 5.

I made it to the playoffs for the first time, my second time playing ff, didn't make it past the first round cause of breesus, should have started cassel, that was the week he got like 25 or so points. But I'm winning the compensation round so I guess that's a plus or something.

    • Okay so he and we are acknowledging that Bryce is still making mistakes and not recognizing basic coverages in his third season. So what does he do to prepare? Remember before the draft the entire hype around him revolved around not only his ability to improvise when the play breaks down on the field but his dedication to preparation off the field in the film room. So if all of this is happening and his footwork is still anywhere between mediocre and horrific in any given play what is he doing in the offseason and in between games? This and his elite processing was supposed to be his key selling point. Then leadership was the sprinkle on top and let's be honest that's lacking at best too. So what is it that Bryce Young excels at in any phase of the game right now?....
    • Ironically enough what I think will ultimately do Bryce in/will be why he won’t make it in the league won’t be his size concerns, but his mental makeup.   He is a historical outlier in size and due to that has smaller and stricter windows, but he *has* shown he can play, but only when it doesn’t matter. The best football we’ve seen from Bryce was that preseason Buffalo drive and then down the stretch last year after we were already eliminated   Remember the look on JJs face last night after that TD pass to Jones towards the end of the game? Dude looked like a straight killer. That’s the face of a dude that’s locked the fug in, completely ignoring any and all noise. Reminded me of prime Cams infamous nod prior to orchestrating a game winning drive right after seeing the Saints take the lead.  Probably hyperbolic but that shot convinced me JJ will be a dude for the Vikings. Yes they have a great staff but that kind of mentality isn’t something that’s taught.    to succeed as a young QB in this league you need some level of that coldness/killer mentality in you to push through the adversity that will inevitably come when you have a bad game, throw a pick 6, or your line gets blown up.    i don’t see any of that in Bryce. I want to be wrong, and hope someone can quote this post with a “wow that aged like milk!” someday, but I don’t think it’s happening.     if Bryce had that mentality in him, I honestly think he could play and work through it, but I just don’t think he does
