The only acceptable statement if Fox is retained...

Good to see that Fox has taken good ole Zod's advice.

Now lets hope that being named the starter spurs Moore to do the things I mentioned above. He has every reason to come out with a new attitude and committment to doing everything he can to be the best.

Whether it turns out to be the right decision or not is still up in the air.

The biggest issue Moore had was shown the door Thursday night. With Jake gone, the ball is in Moore's court to do the most important thing a QB can do: take command of his team.

Since Delhomme was so loved and respected by his teammates, there was no way he could sit on the bench while Moore started, even if it made sense as a gold-plated insurance policy. Jake earned the respect of the other players by the man he was on and off the field, something Moore is on his way to doing.

But for Moore to really have a shot at earning it, Jake had to be given his walking papers. You just can't have the chance of someone still looking at Jake as the leader of the team, it would just undermine Moore.

Delhomme also put in the work to train to be a QB, to rehab himself, to study the game and the opponents, and to learn the people he worked with. It's a big job, probably the toughest one in all of sport, but it's what Moore signed up for. Here's hoping he can do it.

If not, we're going to be looking at that empty spot on the bench.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
