Your Pro Bowl snubs?

Yup, that confirms it, you have not watched any Charger games this season.

Or I am aware that he averages less than 5 catches a game, has but a mere 9 TD's (two more than Steve Smith who had a bad QB throwing to him for over half the season), and in the middle of the season played mediocre or worse for 5 consecutive games. All of this with a really good QB. Feast or Famine players do not deserve to be in the pro bowl.

You mean 1 less TD than Wayne, and the same amount as Johnson.

Averaging 4 more ypc than Wayne, and 2 more ypc than Johnson.

One more 100 yard game than Wayne, and the same amount of 100 yard games as Johnson.

Yea....he's feast or famine all right. Come on man.

Not even sure why I am arguing with a Gator fan anyway.

randy starks

Starks was a far more consistently disruptive player than Mario Williams this season, but the nod went to the "name" player.

and Lousaka Polite

Fullback: Lousaka Polite, Dolphins – Polite was a short-yardage conversion machine while also paving the way for a dominant rushing attack.

It's mostly large fanbase/big market oriented propoganda BS anyways. the pro bowl is a fuging joke. Lot's of guys more deserving are snubbed year in and year out. who fuging cares? I remember Urlacher having better numbers than Lofa Tatupu in 07 but getting snubbed highly in part because of the Bears having such a shitty year. I personally wouldn't want my players risking an injury before the Superbowl this season. It's more unlikely it will happen, but it could.

Like 400 yards less than Johnson on the season. Like 30 less catches. 2 games of less than 30 yards receiving. Johnson definitely gets the nod.

Wayne has more yds, more TD's, more receptions. And one game of less than 30 yds, which he caught a TD in.

Maybe you feel he deserves the pro bowl. But BIGGEST snub? Absolutely not. I would say Beason is a much bigger snub than Jackson. Sounds like you listen to Schefter.

And that's very original and clever of you to criticize gator fandom. You are wise.

    • I've shown you numerous comps for other tackles in the same age and talent range.  His contract, taking into account his age, health, etc.  is the going rate.  It's a fair deal. I've shown you examples of how long it usually takes to find even an average replacement.  Hell, look at every tackle that has ever started for the Panthers.  How many would you consider a success?  They are not easy to find. After everything we've done with this team since drafting Bryce why would we decide to let our best linemen go and add a huge question mark at tackle?   FA is a crapshoot in which any guy available will have cons/issues.  If not, they'll cost a fortune.   Outside of a first or maybe 2nd round pic next year it'll take a few years for a tackle to learn the position at the NFL level.  There are still questions about Icky. Every vet NFL player deals with maintenance.  Between the contract value and history I'm not overly worried about his knee.  I contend his knee issue isn't anything to be overly worried about.  It's not zero risk but it's an acceptable risk.  Every player we draft and every contract we sign has risk.  You're blowing up his own negative words about his knees and ignoring him saying he is healthy and the knee is a non issue.  You have a strong chicken little complex with this team.  Being he has always been a Panther they are very aware of any health issues. We paid now because now is cheaper.  If his knee was really an issue they would have waited.  That tells me it's not the issue you want it to be.
